URW Leadership Team 2022 – 2023



Ginger Morgan – President

Ginger Morgan is serving her second stint as URW President. Ginger arrived in Madison in the summer of 2012 to begin work at Pres House Apartments, building programs for residents. Ginger now facilitates a campus-wide wellness program for Pres House called Candid, and continues supporting programs and residents living at Pres House Apartments. Ginger holds a Ph.D. in Pastoral Theology and loves talking about how our lived experience challenges and enriches our faith and theological understanding.





Daniel Johnson – Vice President for Outreach

Daniel Johnson is serving his second stint on the URW leadership team. Dan arrived on campus in 2015 and currently serves at Upper House as the Director of Technology, Media, and Undergraduate Programming. He works with a wide range of campus ministry organizations at UW-Madison. Prior to arriving on campus, Dan served 13 years with Young Life in two locations.





Michael Burch – Vice President for Programming

Rev. Michael Burch, Executive Director at The Crossing, has decades of non-profit leadership, university teaching and coaching, and pastoral ministry. He completed seminary in the Graduate Theological Union-UC Berkeley joint program and received a graduate degree in ancient Mediterranean religions and philosophies from Brown University. Michael was a visiting faculty member at the Berkeley School of Theology (ABC-USA) for over a decade. His 20 years of pastoral ministry includes congregations in the SF Bay Area and Rhode Island, including The First Baptist Church in America in Providence, RI.  Rev. Burch has significant experience in interfaith collaborations and has been a featured speaker on community organizing, students’ rights, gender equality in sport, and LGBTQI inclusion.





Bobbi Kraft – Vice President for Membership and Finance (she/her)

The Rev. Roberta A. (Bobbi) Kraft serves as chaplain at St. Francis House Episcopal Student Center. She is a native of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, and is a 2018 graduate of Virginia Theological Seminary (VTS). Mother Bobbi previously served as the vicar of Saint Barnabas the Encourager Episcopal Church in Suamico, Wisconsin, and at Holy Spirit Episcopal Church in Waco, Texas. While in Waco, Mother Bobbi (aka, Rev B, Mama Kraft) assisted the Episcopal Student Center for Baylor University and has also served as chaplain to undergraduate students at Georgetown University during her time at seminary. She has served on the URW leadership team since 2022.
